I’ve just donated 2 postcard sized original paintings (including this one and the pale pink one in the previous post)to White Stuff’s Charity postcard gallery, to be displayed and hopefully sold in the shop along with many other local artists’ original work on Thursday 17th November from 6-9pm.
Each original piece of work will be sold for £15 and includes a mount with all proceeds going to the Dog Kennel Hill adventure playground. White Stuff is at 28-30 Lordship lane East Dulwich, London SE22 8HJ. Some of the work is already on show in the shop. Do come along if you’re in the area on 17th.

I’ll be showing 2 large paintings as a diptych in a group show at Safehouse, Copeland rd London SE15 8-11 July.
I did a couple of quick paintings depicting the sea last week. I started by priming the canvases with gesso which I applied with a palette knife, then spattered more on top to create a textures surface to start painting on. Painting techniques included scraping paint across the canvas with a palette knife then flicking and splattering more paint on top.
