Coombe Cliff Conservatory

£395.00

After falling into disrepair, the conservatory from Coombe Cliff House was dismantled and rebuilt in the grounds of the Horniman museum in South East London. The painting was made using layers of gesso, watercolour, printing inks and pen. Parts of the image were sanded away to evoke a ‘distressed’ & textural effect, leaving a rough, peeling surface to work into. Although sold unframed, a basic white frame and mount (as seen in the 2nd image) can be included at cost so it would be ready to hang – enquire for more details. Watercolour, ink, gesso, pen on paper

  • Size: 29 x 21 x 1 cm  (unframed) / 29 x 21 x 1 cm  (actual image size)
  • Signed certificate of authenticity
