Horniman Conservatory Portrait

£395.00

This painting is one of a series that I have made of the Victorian conservatory at the Horniman museum in South East London. It was painted using layers of gesso, watercolour, printing inks and pen. Parts of the image were sanded away to evoke a ‘distressed’ & textural effect, leaving a rough, peeling surface to work into. Although sold unframed, a basic white frame and mount (as seen in the 2nd image) can be included at cost so it would be ready to hang – enquire for more details. Watercolour, ink and gesso on paper

  • 20 x 29 x 1 cm (unframed) / 21 x 29 cm (actual image size)
  • Signed certificate of authenticity
