Description

When visiting the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors this summer when the heather was at it’s colourful finest,  I spotted a lone tree on the horizon.
In this painting, I used watercolour, ink, gesso and a small area of image transfer from one of my original photos, aiming to keep the foreground quite abstract so that the viewer is drawn to the horizon and that solitary tree.
This is one of a series of my paintings of North Yorkshire and is is sold framed (in a white wooden frame) and is ready to hang.
