Description
This mixed media landscape canvas of a scene inspired by a combination by visits to Scotland and also the Yorkshire moors, looking across the heather to mountains in the distance.
It was made by using thin layers of oils, acrylics and inks onto a gesso ground. Areas of the painting were then lightly sanded and scratched away to enhance the texture and light effects.
The canvas measures 51 x 40 x 1 cm is ready to hang with a hanging system of hooks and wire fixed to the back. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas for continuity.
