Description
Pellici’s in the East End of London is a classic cafe on Bethnal Green Road, E2.
It’s one of the prettiest and oldest cafes in London, full of character and is one of the most historic places to eat in the city and has even been given Grade II listed status by English Heritage.
I love the colourful exterior with the chrome sign E. Pellici (named after Elide Pellici who took over the cafe from her husband in 1931.
Painted in watercolours, gesso and mixed media on paper, sold framed in a white frame, glazed and ready to hang.
Painting size- 19.5cm w x 25cm H , frame size 32cm w x 43cm H x 3.5 D.
