Description
This painting is an interpretation of one of my favourite local views from the top of Horniman Gardens in South-East London, looking across to Dawson’s Heights which is an iconic housing scheme designed by Kate Macintosh.
Materials and techniques used: oil, acrylic and textured gesso on canvas. I used sgrafitto techniques to score into the paint to reveal the colours of the layers below.
The canvas measures 29cm x 21 and is sold framed in a simple white float frame measuring 35 x 26 x 3cm and is ready to hang.
